Hear me out
1. Location
Well, the location is amazing indeed. I think this is the one and only reason this hotel did not perish behind history.
2. Room condition
I had a deluxe room, king bed, eiffel view balcony.
As I was searching again to write this post, I found out that they had another option for the higher floor. You need to pay 110 USD more for it. What a petty!
So, we got the second floor.
As I was saying,
Also, the room was very small. I don't have the picture because I was so disappointed that I didn't even think about taking a picture. Just a bed, bathroom, and one sofa against the window (I want to stress that it was an Eiffel Tower view room).
No wine glass, no wine opener. I had to call for the room service and they charged us 5 euros. Seriously? In Paris?
From 7pm, this weird, annoying noise echoed all over the room. Talked to the reception, and they said they would check about it. No feedback, no improvements were made. I had to wake up three more times at dawn.
3. Breakfast
Breakfast was also expensive. I had no choice but to look forward to having a wonderful breakfast.
But as you guessed it, it was awful. Lack of choices, only European menu. They only had 5 fruits, and grapes were the only fruit that could have been eaten without peeling.
Very disappointed, such a waste of money.
4. General Service
The first impression was awful. The doorman carried white people's luggage out and loaded it on the taxi. And then, of course, went straight back to where they were standing. Not even a bonjour for us.
After reviewing some Google reviews, I came to the conclusion that it's because we were Asians.
The reception was extremely slow. The official check-in time was 4pm, but they made us wait till 4:32. They just kept us waiting in the lobby, and when we expressed anger past 4, they reluctantly offered us a welcome drink from the bar. The servers were not polite, of course.
In the room, we can call the reception via the tablet PC furnished in the room. To actually communicate with the reception, you have to call them 3 or 4 times. They are always busy.
So what do you recommend?
I highly recommend just taking some pictures in front of the hotel Pullman and saving money. Buy you a necklace or go to some fancy restaurant.
Don't waste your money and your time and buy a horrible memory.
